International Day of Peace
Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. So the project purpose is to design an event that communicates the message of International Day of Peace, celebrates and supports this day.
Koehler (2010), “John Kirk Boy is a lawyer, professor, and the executive director of the 2048 Project. He teaches international human rights, civil rights, free speech, and constitutional law at the University of California”. According to John kirk : We all were born with five fingers in each hand, each finger indicate five fundamental freedoms. Meaning we are naturally born with peace and if the five freedoms become a regular part of our daily lives, peace will be achieved.
